oh yea, start to interfere on FRS and see how long it takes for someone to find you and kick you punk azz.

deliberate interference is illegal. FRS is low power, means that the person is close, and it is easy to track down nearby offenders.

um… a walkie talkie and a cordless or cellular phone operate on completely different frequencies… not to mention that the walkie-talkie transmits in analog, and most modern cordless phones transmit there signal in digital, and use some form of encryption (DSS, FHSS or something similar)

@ziggybome I made it a few years back. I got an original off ebay that was worn and tiny and copied it? a few sizes bigger. They tend to cost a lot of money these days.

@ziggybome I got quite good with an? old Federation 1924 hand crank sewing machine I found dumped by a skip. The old machines can handle canvas and leather so are dead handy.
I also picked up an almost identical pair of goggles at The Stars & Stripes show last weekend for £15 still in their box.

Hi there, Can I ask if there are any adaptors available for the Binatone 950 which will convert the standard motorola 1 pin lead into the 3 pole jack needed to connect a headset to the 950??

@canigetanoorah How many poles/ conductors are on the Motorola plug if 3 then it can probably be converted. The basic is mic, spkr & common? wire.

YOU CAN PUT THEM IN CHECKED LUGGAGE, BUT JUST KNOW THEY MAY NOT BE USABLE IN EUROPE IF THEY ARE FCC REGISTERED TYPE WALKIE-TALKIES.
